Once upon a 1980s time, in what was then the half suburb half cow town of Melbourne, Florida, I rode in my first (and as of this writing 30+ years later, only) helicopter, but my view was the back of my own eyelids. Even if I had been able to open my eyes, my view would have been womb and my twin sister all up-close and personal. There was only enough room in the chopper for our Mom (Tammy) and the medics, who warned her she'd be set down in a field to give birth, if there was a bad enough accident between here and there on the way. Our Dad (Tarzan) and his friend (Todd) drove, somehow (breaking every speed law along the way) beating the chopper to the Orlando hospital.
There, in a hallway (because there weren't any available delivery rooms at the time,) the first of the twins insisted on breaching reality without waiting for anyone to be ready. Tammy tried to tell the passing nurses, but they argued because they thought it was too early. When Tammy won the argument by getting them to take one peep under the gown to see a crown, the delivery team was rushed right over to get her to a delivery room (make room!) So, while Tarzan argued his way into the crowded delivery room after her, and Todd peered in from a window, one twin was born, and five minutes later the second twin was born.

and I've chosen to open with my birth story to set the tone as it was set for me, for what has been an eventful and enlightening life.

"Tell me more" a.k.a. "Jupiter" LLAMP ART by M.E.
Long-exposure Light And Motion Photography (LLAMP) Art is the deliberate "painting" with light in a long-exposure photograph. The "painting" is accomplished with the tiniest of "wiggles" to the entirety of the camera in order to move the lens and therefore create strokes with the light over the time of the exposure. Mere seconds, really.
It may very well have another name, but in 2019, when M.E. stumbled upon the art accidentally, she could find no such art existing on purpose and with a name, and so did it on purpose and named it.
This LLAMP Art is "painted" with the light of Jupiter as seen from Live Oak, Florida circa Spring of 2020.
We use this photo as our website welcome banner, but also as a place holder for other images we intend to replace with new, original art.
